Women from diverse fields feted at Jashn
Lucknow: Women from the diverse fields were honoured at Jashn 2025 International Hindi-Urdu conclave organised by the Fakhruddin Ali Ahmad Committee and the Friends and Friends Association at Urdu Akademi on Thursday. Women in fields of education, business, journalism and films were honoured with Rani Laxmi Bai and Begum Hazrat Mahal award 2025. Women who received award were Huma Fatima, Babita Agarwal and Mahjabi Bano from the filed of entrepreneurship, while, Sonia Pahwa in the field of journalism and Lakshmi Arya, Nazia Hassan and Ruby Raj Sinha from films. Meanwhile, from business, Komal Mahendru, Richa Tripathi and Sanskriti Mishra were honoured and Ritu Jain, Shivani Kalra and Kritika Malhotra from education. Moreover, various sessions on language, drama, education and politics took place. In the end a mushaira was organised in which poets such as Salim Tabish, Shakeel Gayavi, Priya Singh and Qari Naeem Manzar recited poetry.
