Women feted for outstanding contributions across fields

Lucknow: A special programme was organized in the state capital to honour women achievers on the eve of International Women's Day.At the event, Udyami Mahila Samman Samaroh, organized by Lagan Udyami Mahila Foundation, women who have done outstanding work in different fields of society were honoured by Samajwadi Party MP Dimple Yadav."Today, women are moving ahead in every field and making significant contributions to the development of society and the country. Such programmes strengthen the morale of women," Dimple said.The programme was presided over by the president of Lagan Udyami Mahila Foundation, Pratibha Yadav.
