Woman looted near Lohia hospital

LUCKNOW: An unidentified miscreant looted the purse and mobile phone of a woman after hitting her on the head in Gomtinagar while she was exiting an ATM booth on Thursday night.
Monika Singh of Husadiya, who works as a software engineer in an MNC, was withdrawing cash from an ATM near Lohia Hospital.
As she came out with the money, a man hit her with a heavy object, causing her to fall down, said the police.He snatched her mobile phone and purse and fled.
Police spokesperson AK Singh said, “We have registered a case and CCTV footage is being scanned. She was carrying Rs 5,000.”
