NEW DELHI: In a remarkable act of bravery, a pit bull named Jenny saved the lives of children by attacking and killing a snake in Jhansi yesterday.
The incident occurred in the garden of a house in Shiv Ganesh colony, where the domestic help's children were playing. Hearing their screams, Jenny broke free from her leash and rushed to their aid. Punjab Singh, Jenny's owner, noted,
"According to Jenny's owner, this is not the first time it has killed a snake and saved lives." Singh added,
"If the snake had entered the house, anything could have happened," and mentioned, "So far, Jenny has killed around 8 to 10 snakes."
