Volleyball leagueto be held in UPsoon: Pathak

Lucknow: The UP Volleyball League will be organized in Lucknow soon.
This was stated by Deputy Chief Minister and president the UP Volleyball Association Brajesh Pathak. A new office-bearer has also been appointed in the association, he added while chairing an executive meeting of the association here on Monday. Pathak said that "all of us have to make joint efforts to promote volleyball in the state." He also stressed on forming a committee and setting up a camp office of the association to make the event a success.
Sunil Tiwari, general secretary of the association, gave an overview of activities so far and the action plan ahead.
The meeting unanimously nominated Brajesh Sengar and Rajesh Shukla as vice-president and executive member of the association. Tiwari said that every year on Aug 8 the UP Volleyball Day will be organized in Ayodhya.
Treasurer Mohammad Ibrahim, BN Mishra, Pradeep Chauhan, DK Shahi, Raghavendra Dubey, Vimal Pandey, state convener Vishal Mishra and other dignitaries attended the meeting.
