Vivek Tiwari murder case: HC rejects plea seeking CBI probe

LUCKNOW: The high court on Friday dismissed a PIL seeking CBI probe into Vivek Tiwari's murder.

The high court said the petitioner was neither aware of legal proceedings nor had the locus standi (right to file petition) in the case.

A bench of Chief Justice Dilip

Babasaheb Bhosale

and Justice Vivek Chaudhary passed the order on the petition of S Yadav.

The court also turned down the petitioner's plea to summon records of recent encounters in Uttar Pradesh.
