Lucknow: The Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) released its sixth list of candidates for UP assembly elections on Friday.
Out of the nine candidates, that the party declared, three are
BJP rebels who have been fielded from different assembly seats in
Ballia
.
The party on Thursday had declared former BJP MLA Surendra Singh and BJP leader
Kanak Pandey its candidates from Bairia and Bansdih assembly seats in Ballia respectively. Their names figured in the list declared on Friday along with another former BJP functionary,
Jitendra Tiwari whom the VIP has fielded from Ballia Nagar.
The VIP will contest 165 seats in UP with 80% of them being in Purvanchal.
The party has declared the names of 92 candidates till now out which majority candidates are from the Nishad community. On Friday, the candidates were declared for assembly seats in Sultanpur, Ambedkarnagar, Bahraich, Sant
Kabir Nagar
, Azamgarh and Ballia.
