Following which halal certification on food products and others is illegal in the state.
As a result, halal certification on food products including dairy products, sugar, bakery products, peppermint oil, namkeen ready to eat savoury snacks and food oil is banned and those indulging in it will be booked under section 30 (2) (d) of food safety and standards act.
