Uttar Pradesh: 73 new Covid cases surface in 24 hours

Lucknow: As many as 73 people were diagnosed with novel coronavirus infection on Wednesday, taking the active case count to 522. Meanwhile, 58 patients recovered from infection in the past 24 hours. Among those tested positive, 12 people had influenza-like symptoms and two were non-Covid-19 patients tested during routine check while others came in contact with patients diagnosed with infection earlier. CMO Dr Manoj Agrawal said, "All those who tested positive have mild symptoms and are recovering in home isolation."
