UPSIFS set to add more staff members, invites applications

Lucknow: More staff members will be added to the Uttar Pradesh State Institute of Forensic Sciences (UPSIFS) on administrative, academic, and non-academic posts on a deputation basis. Only employees of government institutions, and organizations (central government or any state government) will be eligible to apply for the posts, said a government official.
The institute has invited applications for a total of 66 posts.Candidates who are interested may apply until May 29. By visiting upsifs.org, one can find information about applications for these positions. It is noteworthy that the government recently started the admission process for the academic session 2023-24 at UPSIFS, Sarojini Nagar.
UP State Institute of Forensic Sciences director GK Goswamy said the institute is offering five forensics-related courses for 160 students. These courses are BSc/MSc (forensic science), PG diploma in forensic document examination, PG diploma in cyber security, PG diploma in DNA forensic, and PG diploma in forensic ballistics and explosives.
