UP men hit silver in recurve

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh's men's recurve archery team won the silver medal at the 38th National Games in Dehradun on Thursday. Rohit, Neeraj Chauhan, Aman Singh Yadav, and Mrinal Chauhan performed brilliantly in the final of the men's recurve team event, finishing second with a score of 4(27). Congratulating the team, UPOA general secretary Anandeshwar Pandey said that with this medal, Uttar Pradesh has moved to 13th place in the medal tally with a total of 19 medals—6 gold, 7 silver, and 6 bronze.
'Babu' Stadium won overall championship
KD Singh ‘Babu' Stadium pugilists excelled in the Samanvay Lucknow District Boxing Championship, clinching the overall championship trophy in the senior and junior categories. Meanwhile, Modern Academy secured the overall championship title in the sub-junior and mini categories. Chairman of St Thomas Mission School, Father Jayson Joseph, and UP Boxing Association PRO, Deepak Sharma, gave away the prizes to the winners.
