UP forensic instt signs MoU with NACIN to boost training, research
Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh State Institute of Forensic Science (UPSIFS), Lucknow signed an MoU with the National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes & Narcotics (NACIN), Union govt, to enhance training, intellectual growth and research capacity-building on Tuesday.
The MoU was signed at UPSIFS, Lucknow, by its founding director and additional director general of police GK Goswamy and Ved Prakash Shukla (IRS), principal additional director general, NACIN, Lucknow.
Goswamy emphasised that this MoU marks a significant step towards strengthening training programmes, intellectual enrichment and research development for officers and employees of both institutions. He highlighted that this collaboration would play a vital role in nation-building by advancing forensic science and law enforcement expertise. Ved Prakash Shukla stated that this partnership aligns with the vision of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas' as envisioned by PM Narendra Modi.
He emphasised the importance of continuous learning and innovation in ensuring India's progress and expressed pride in being part of an initiative that contributes to national development.
