Two youths killed as bike runs into divider

LUCKNOW: Two out of three friends riding a motorcycle were killed when the two-wheeler rammed into a road divider late Wednesday night. Two of the youths were declared dead at the hospital, while the third was undergoing treatment for multiple fractures.
The incident took place late Wednesday night when Prateek alias Rahul (22) of Jhabban ki Bagiya, his distant relative Manoj Kashyap (21) of Lalganj in Old City and Vineet alias Annu (24) were on their way home from Dubagga.
According to eye witnesses, they were driving at a very high speed when they saw a heavy vehicle coming from the opposite direction. As the motorcycle was moving very fast, they lost control the moment brakes were applied and the two-wheeler rammed into the concrete divider. All three suffered severe injuries and were rushed to the Trauma Centre.
