AYODHYA: Not many would have imagined that the 'Pushpak Viman' that is said to have brought back Ram, Sita and Laxman from a 14-year exile, to Ayodhya in Treta Yug, would reimerge in the 21st century as a blue coloured chopper that would fly over Ayodhya on Chhoti Diwali that was celebrated on Tuesday.
And when it did happen, as the helicopter symbolic of the 'Pushpak Viman' carrying artists dressed as Lord Ram, wife Sita and brother Laxman flew over the heads of thousands who had gathered at the Ram Katha park, showering flowers while still in flight, unanimous chants of 'Jai Shri Ram'filled in the air.

The UP government's ambitious second year of Deepawali began with a Shobha Yatra that traversed over 3 kilometres from Saket Degree College to the Ram Katha park, but it was the momentous landing of symbolic godly trio that recreated the Treta Yug and the much talked about Ram Rajya. As the trio descended from a helicopter, they were received by Governor Ram Naik, chief minister Aditya Nath Yogi and the first Lady of South Korea along with other ministers.
After which they were escorted to the special pedestal made for the trio at the venue.
Once seated at their designated spots, the three were given their due Rajya Abhishek in the presence of a number of sages and saints present on stage. And from the Governor and CM to the battalion of cabinet and state ministers lined up on stage, all presented their aarti to the symbolic Ram, Sita and Laxman.
Leaving little for the audience's imagination of how Ayodhya would have been when Lord
Rama had returned from his exile, the ambiance created, had spirits rising every now and then when people with all fervour joined in the Jai Shri Ram chorus.
Governor Ram Naik while addressing the crowd, also said, "At that time when Lord Ram had come back to Ayodhya, it would have been a similar scene then here. Perhaps it is bigger than the Treta Yug." Governor of Bihar, Lalji Tandon, also said, "It was Muni Vashisht who had come to receive Lord Ram in Treta Yug on his return to Ayodhya. And here there are all the saints and sages present on stage to do the same. The scene then must have been the same back then."
Once tributes to the Lord had been paid, it was time for the Saryu aarti on Naya ghat which was followed by fire crackers shot up in the air. Three lakh diyas illuminated the ghats of river Saryu and the laser show on a huge water fountain with excepts of the Ramayana presented on it through the projector system, had visitors regalling Ayodhya's Deepotsav and Diwali celebrations, with talks of Ram Rajya everywhere.
