Vivek Tiwari's daughter: Don't want money, punish killer cops

Vivek Tiwari's daughter: Don't want money, punish killer cops

LUCKNOW: Priyanshi is all of 12 years but speaks emphatically as she remains unforgiving to the cops who killed her father and Apple executive Vivek Tiwari in Lucknow on Saturday morning. Even as UP CM Yogi Adityanath and his government on Tuesday handed over Rs 40 lakh as compensation to the bereaved family, Tiwari's daughter said that she was not satisfied.
"See, we are not satisfied with only the money that we have got.

I don't want it. I only want justice for my father," she told TOI. She broke down as she continued, "Jo woh cop tha, usko kadi se kadi saza milni chahiye...tadap tadap kar (He should get exemplary punishment...he should feel the agony),"
The class seven student rejected the claims by UP constable Prashant Choudhary, who said he fired at Vivek as he (Vivek) tried to run his Mahindra XUV 500 over him. The special investigation team (SIT) constituted by UP government on Tuesday reconstructed the path taken by Prashant and his co-biker policeman as well as that taken by Tiwari.
"My father was a respected employee of a corporate company. He was a family man. He was an educated and humble person. He never abused or raised his voice. He would never do such a thing," she said. A video kept with Priyanshi has shown the doting side of the Apple executive. The video shot 24 hours before his cold-blooded killing showed he sang a Bollywood number on Karaoke system. In the video, Tiwari is seen lying on a bed while his younger daughter passes by him twice. "Yes, we loved singing together. We sang so many songs. That's why I will never be able to forgive his killers," she said. She recalled how a day ago, Tiwari had assured him a gift if she scored more than 90 % in her English exam in school.

"I never wanted an Apple phone from him. I never loved mobile phones. I don't know what surprise gift he would have given to me. At the moment, I only told UP deputy chief minister Dinesh Sharma that I want my father's XUV back. I don't know who in UP Police tried to damage my fathers car though original photographs didn't reveal that much damage,"she said. Priyanshi also ridiculed initial claims made by UP Police on suspicion of links between Tiwari and Sana. "Sana Didi would come to our home a few times. She would play with us. Its horrible to even think of such a thing," she said.
