Take strict action against encroachers, land mafia: Yogi at Janata Darshan
Lucknow: Reiterating his commitment to zero tolerance on crime, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday directed officials to take strict action against encroachers and land mafia.The instructions were given at Janata Darshan held at his Lucknow residence, where several cases related to illegal encroachment came up for redressal.
Interacting with each petitioner personally, the CM heard their complaints and handed over their applications to the concerned officials, with directions that these matters must be attended to as a priority and settled at the earliest, based on the merit of the case. The CM heard about several cases related to illegal encroachment and directed officials to take appropriate action in each case. He also directed officials to hear cases locally and ensure that these matters were addressed at the district level. In addition, the CM met a woman who came with her child, who was undergoing treatment at KGMU. She requested financial assistance for the treatment and was assured that it would be provided. He said, "The 25 crore residents of the state are my family. The govt stands with everyone in happiness and sorrow. From day one, financial assistance for treatment was provided, and this will continue. No one's treatment will stop due to lack of money." A young girl recited a poem for the CM: ‘Hum sher bacche, sher bacche, sher bacche hain. Hum chote hain to kya hua, hum dil ke sacche hain. Hum bade hokar desh ki shan badhaenge. Jai Hind.' The CM praised her and asked if she would like to study while assuring that her admission would be arranged.
