Lucknow:Charbagh railway station authorities have kickstarted a drive to sterilize stray dogs. Three dogs were sterilized and inoculated with anti-rabies, anti-corona vaccines on Thursday.
The initiative was taken by station director
Ashish Singh in collaboration with Human Society International India. According to railway officials, “Scores of passengers travel every day via Charbagh station and there is threat that stray dogs might attack them in an attempt to fetch food, therefore it was decided to control their population and also inoculate them to prevent any further infection.” TNN
