Inter-college fest of St Francis’ School opens

Lucknow: Mohammed Husain Abbas and Madhav Krishna Agnihotri of St Francis' College were adjudged the best speakers in English debate contest held on the inaugural day of ‘Expression 24', the inter-college literary and cultural festival of St Francis' College.In Elomime contest, Emma Thompson School came first while Unity College and GD Goenka came second and third respectively. In English poetry writing, Vanshika Sharma (Modern Academy) came first while Samreen Fatima (Emma Thompson School) and Ritvik Vishba Raj (St Francis' College) came second and third respectively.The fest was inaugurated by ADG (EOW) Ashutosh Pandey along with principal Fr Rajesh D'Souza and manager Fr Donald D'Souza. In ‘Best Out of Waste' contest, Modern Academy came first, St Francis' College second and Loreto Convent third. Over 1,500 students from 21 prestigious schools across the city are taking part in the event. TNN
