area late Tuesday night.Police said that the deceased Umesh Shukla was working outside a showroom in Mahanagar when he was knocked off by a white colour SUV.The showroom manager Ravi informed police that Shukla succumbed to his injuries while he was being taken to the hospital. He informed police that a speeding SUV knocked him off and he wasn’t able to remember the registration number.Police have registered an FIR under the charges of rash driving and causing death by negligence.
