LUCKNOW: Alleging that four SHOs of Jaswantnagar assembly constituency have been sent on forced leaves, a delegation of Samajwadi Party met the Chief Electoral Officer of UP on Friday and sought his intervention.

A delegation led by party’s national secretary Rajendra Chaudhary alleged that four SHOs-- Rajeev Yadav (Vedpura police station), Jai Prakash Yadav (Chaubia police station), Salman Sidqqui (Jaswantnagar police station) and SHO of Barthana police station-- have been sent on forced leaves. Apart from this, the SP workers are being harassed in the name of checking their vehicles. The SP delegation demanded that such actions must immediately be stopped, and free and fair elections must be held.
