Some find CUET easy, others say GK was tough

Lucknow: The first phase of the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET-UG) was organized at 15 centres here on Sunday.Candidates found general knowledge paper a little tough, while English section was easy. “Overall, it was not a tough exam. English was basic and current affairs part was a bit tough,” CUET aspirant Riddhi Srivastava said and added if a candidate had prepared well for board exams then cracking CUET was not a tough task as everything came from Class XI and Class XII syllabus.But another aspirant Achintya Bajpai said, “GK part was tough as it had questions based on math equations. Current affairs paper was also not that easy.”However, most of the candidates said that for cracking CUET no coaching is required. “By sticking to basics taught in Class X and Class XII and NCERT books one can easily crack the entrance test,” they added.
