Shivam, Upendra shine in NER’s 3-wkt victory

Lucknow: Shivam Dixit (four wickets) and Upendra Yadav, who scored an unbeaten 82, enabled the North Eastern Railway to beat the Dhruv Cricket Academy by three wickets in a thrilling tie of the G 20 BBD Senior Division Cricket League at Chowk Stadium on Saturday. Batting first, Dhruv Academy made 227 for nine wickets. Rajdeep Singh and captain Abhishek Kaushal scored 30 and 56 runs respectively. Rahul Tomar scored 61, hitting seven boundaries and one six. Vivek Chauhan and Mohd Danish made 24 and 21 runs, respectively. For NER, Shivam took four wickets and Saurabh Kashyap and Saurbh Dubey claimed two wickets each. In reply, NER scored 229 runs in 38 overs for the fall of seven wickets. TNN
