Shastri extols teachers role

kanpur: governor of uttar pradesh, vishnu kant shastri extolled the role of teachers and parents of the students who had secured positions in the merit list and said the teachers of some educational institutions were playing a vital role in the academic development of students and they were shaping the future of their students with their own hands. in a function organised at the bnsd shishka niketan here on sunday, shastri applauded the role of teachers in the nation building and said the teachers of educational institutions were not only teaching students but also building the future of the nation.he said the teachers were teaching students with all their effort for the sake of their students and wish to see them at the peak of their abilities. he pointed out that there was a deep co-relation between the teachers of educational institutions and parents of students and added that the role of both was equally important in shaping the career of the students. he said that every student should work hard during his or her student life and always aim to attain heights of excellence in their life. he said, kamal to kato me he khilta hai. in the function, mothers of meritorious students were also felicitated by the governor. he said the children are capable of achieving success with the blessings of their guardians and ancestors, so it was a must to felicitate them also. he said, gyan ka koi ant nahi hai, jitna padoga utna hi uppar utthoge (there is no end of knowledge, the more you learn, the more you will grow in life). on the occasion, shastri felicitated several students who secured positions in the examination of up board, including toppers of high school examination richa gupta, akansha gupta and the second rank holder of intermediate cheshta dwivedi along with their teachers. among other prominent persons present on the occasion were rambalak mishra, surendra gupta and the principal of bnsd shiksha niketan, angad singh. earlier, shastri inaugurated the mobile medical unit of india in a function held at merchants chamber hall and has also taken part in akhil bhartiya sanskrit evam alankaran samaroh, organised by the hindi pracharini samiti, at hindi bhawan, gangpur.
