Several DMs transferred in major reshuffle

Lucknow: The district magistrates of several districts in the state were moved around in a round of transfers announced on Friday night. Bijnor DM Umesh Mishra is now the DM of Kushinagar. He has been replaced by Ravindra Kumar Mandar, who was earlier Rampur DM. Ankit Agarwal has been moved from Etah to Rampur as DM. Bhadohi Industrial Development Authority CEO Prem Ranjan Singh has been posted as Etah DM.Meanwhile, Mahendra Singh Tawar, who was vice-chairperson of the Gorakhpur Development Authority, has been moved to Sant Kabir Nagar as DM. Basti DM Priyanka Niranjan has been moved to Mirzapur in the same role. She has replaced Divya Mittal, who is the new Basti DM.Akshay Tripathi, special secretary in the department of IT and Electronics, has been posted in Lalitpur as DM. He replaced Alok Singh, who is the new DM of Kanpur Dehat. Earlier Kanpur Dehat DM Neha Jain has been moved to the department of IT and Electronics as special secretary.
