AYODHYA: A young scientist from Ambedkarnagar district, Prabhat Pande (26), has brought laurels to the state by playing a key role in the landing of Chandrayaan-3.

Prabhat, a resident of Sarayya Virsinghpur village of Ambedkarnagar, is a scientist at Isro and was a part of landing team in the moon mission.

His team developed the critical circuitry and algorithms to maintain the balance of the lander during the final descend.

Prabhat's father, Om Prakash Pandey, who is a school teacher, said his son had also worked for Chandrayaan-2. "Prabhat joined the team engaged in the Chandrayaan-3 mission under the leadership of Isro chief. He called us and shared his happiness over the mission's success," he said, adding that the family was proud of the country's success.

Prabhat did his high school from Shanti Ashram Inter College in Bhiti and intermediate from SSSV Inter College in Faizabad. He pursued his engineering course from NIT, Warangal (Telangana).
