Lucknow: Valedictory session of the Indian society of Chemists and Biologists International Conference was held at the Malviya Sabhagar Hall in
Lucknow University on Wednesday. The ISCB Distinguished Prize for Research was awarded to Alam Nur-E-Kamal, professor of Medgar Evers College, City University of New York, US; K G Anoja P Attanayake, professor of University of Ruhuna, Sri Lanka and Dipak P Ramji, professor of Cardiff University, UK, for contribution to scientific research.
The ISCB Award for Excellence in Industry was conferred on Lifeactivus Private Limited, India, Plants Med Laboratories Private Limited, India, Renith Catalyst Private Limited, India and Smart Conference Private Limited & Webgrade Technologies Private Limited, India, for their innovative work in industrial applications.
Besides the big prizes, the Best Poster Award was given to students Tushar Ranjan Panda, Shumaila Nafees,Deepak Kumar, and Surabhi Upadhyaya. Governor of Bihar, Arif Mohammed Khan, Pro-Vice Chancellor of Lucknow University, Manuka Khanna, Former Vice-Chancellor of Gujarat Vidyapeeth, Anamik Shah, former chief scientist of ISCB, P M S Chauhan, president of Thinq Pharma, Mukund S Chorghade and professor in department of chemistry, Anil Mishra, were also present on the occasion.
