Lucknow: Captain Sameer Rizvi scored an unbeaten 158 as hosts Uttar Pradesh beat
Tamil Nadu by six wickets at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow to get full points. On the fourth day of the match on Wednesday, UP needed 312 runs to win, which it successfully scored at the loss of four wickets.
Tamil Nadu had scored a mammoth 485 in their second innings on the third day, giving UP the target of 314 runs. UP ended the third day scoring two runs without any loss and needed 312 runs on the last day.
Tamil Nadu had scored 152 runs in their first innings while UP had scored 323. On the last day of the match, all eyes were on UP batsmen.
