Samarth wants to join Indian hockey team

Lucknow: Samarth Prajapati, a rising hockey star, is representing Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith of Varanasi in the Khelo India University Games here.His coaches Rajnish Mishra of the Lucknow Hostel and Ranjeet Raj are confident of an excellent performance by Samarth in the university games. Samarth’s elder brother Sarvashretha Prajapati, too, is a hockey player and currently he is working with Indian railways.Samarth said that the university games had proved lucky for him as just before the start of the game he got a job in the police department through sports quota.
