RLD's Suraaj Yatra takes off

LUCKNOW: State general secretary of Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) Anil Dubey flagged off 'Suraaj Yatra' from the party office on Saturday. The 'yatra' is being taken out to protest the rising corruption, deteriorating law and order in the BSP rule. Addressing the party workers, Dubey said that the downfall of the BSP government has begun as more and more ministers in the Mayawati government and BSP MLAs are found to have been involved in some or other scams.

Mahapanchayat: Civil Court Karmachari Mahasangh, UP, organised its mahapanchayat on Saturday. The mahasangh among others demanded equal salary of all employees working in district courts in the country, implementation of Justice KL Sharma report, giving status of gazetted officer to munsarim/section head and personal assistant of every court and withdrawal of the government order (GO) disapproving to give DA allowance recommended by Justice Shetty Commission.
