Lucknow: Newly-appointed national general secretary of
Rashtriya Lok Dal,
Anil Dubey, was given a warm welcome at the party office in Lucknow on Tuesday. RLD functionaries and supporters greeted him with drums, Vedic chants, bells, and conch sounds.
After reaching the RLD office, Dubey paid tribute to Bharat Ratna Chaudhary Charan Singh by garlanding his statue. He reaffirmed RLD president
Jayant Chaudhary's vision of strengthening the party in Purvanchal, Madhyanchal, and Bundelkhand regions and announced that preparations for the 2027 UP elections would begin soon. Slamming the opposition's criticism of the Maha Kumbh Mela, Dubey accused them of "mixing politics with religion" and "playing with the faith of millions."
