RLD’s Kisan Sabha on Charan anniv

Lucknow: Rashtriya Lok Dal has decided to convene a Kisan Sabha in Bharatpur district of Rajasthan on the birth anniversary of former PM Chaudhary Charan Singh on December 23.The decision is significant in the wake of assembly elections in Rajasthan next year. RLD spokesperson Anil Dubey said the Kisan Sabha, to be organized at MSJ college, will be addressed by party chief and Charan Singh’s grandson Jayant Chaudhary.In UP, the party will hold weeklong events from December 23-29 in various districts as part of celebrations of Charan Singh’s birth anniversary. Dubey said the party will organize seminars and chaupals to throw light on the ideas and principles of the farmer leader.
