Rivals shoot at mango grower

Lucknow: A mango grower was shot at in

Malihabad

on Tuesday.

As per reports, the victim Sunil Kumar Rawat (30) of

Maal

is a mango grower and was going to the mango market in

Sandila

of

Hardoi

on a tractor loaded with mangoes from his grove in Malihabad.

Around 3.45 am, when he reached at Saspan village, his alleged rivals, identified as Habib Ali, Kamleshwar and Prem Shanker Pathak, all of Maal shot at the victim, hitting him in his back. The miscreants, who were riding a bike, fled the scene after the attack.

The victim was rushed to the

Trauma Centre

where his condition is said to be improving. The victim lodged a case against the miscreants. He alleged that Kamleshwar whipped a pistol and attacked him while the other two helped him in executing the attack.
