REPL Crusaders beat Youth Club by 6 wkts

Lucknow: REPL Crusaders Cricket Club defeated the Youth Cricket Club by six wickets in the G-20 BBD Senior Division Cricket League played at Chowk stadium here on Wednesday.The Crusaders won the toss and decided to bowl first. Youth Club were all out for 144 runs in 38.4 overs. Openers Yashwardhan and Vinayak Nigam scored 19 and 21 runs respectively and Sarthak made 19 before being caught by Sajal on the deep mid-wicket. Kuldeep Chauhan scored maximum 39 runs.For Crusaders, Abhay Dwivedi and Kshitij Mishra claimed three wickets each. Prince Maurya took two wickets and Srijan Singh and Sajal Verma got one wicket each.In reply, Crusaders scored 148 runs for the fall of four wickets in 33.2 overs and won the match by six wickets. Shashwat Pandey scored 64 runs off 102 balls with the help of 10 boundaries. Shubham Chaubey scored unbeaten 55. Abhay Dwivedi of Crusaders was declared the ‘Man of the Match’. Akhil Infra Cricket Club will face UP Timber at Chowk stadium on Thursday.
