lucknow: ratnesh mishra has returned from england with 1000 runs, 40 odd wickets and a fresh two-year contract with his club. a tall all-rounder, mishra's fine performance included three centuries and thrice five or more wickets while playing for wormsworth club in the south yorkshire b division league. his display not only saved his club from relegation but helped them finish fifth.as a result of his good showing, which boosted his club to 11 victories, his club offered him a new contract for two years. the 22-year-old mishra figured in 18 out of 22 matches his club played. his best all-round performace came up against doncaster club. he smashed 94 not out and picked six wickets.his other two five-wicket hauls were against rovers club and upperhauge club.using his height and strength, he batted well too. he hit the form against dodwroth club. he cracked 141 not out. against rockingham club, the former kanpur sports hostel player notched up an unbeaten 132. mishra recorded his third century against vickerseley club. he got a solid 127 on that occasion. mishra now looks forward to the domestic season in which he wants to use his experience to reap good results for uttar pradesh.
