Rajnath, Mulayam call up Babri litigant Hashim Ansari

AYODHYA: Union home minister Rajnath Singh made a phone call to Hashim Ansari, the oldest litigant of Babri Masjid case and invited him to Delhi. Ansari wishes to meet to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Ansari’s son Iqbal confirmed that Rajnath called up his father also to inquire about his health.
“Whenever I meet Modi, my first demand will be to ensure the accused in the Babri Masjid demolition are punished at the earliest and the hearing is put in fast track court.

I am ready for the peaceful negotiation,” said Ansari.
Meanwhile, in another development, the Samajwadi Party president Mulayam Singh Yadav also called up Hashim Ansari and asking him to continue pursuing the Babri Masjid case without any fear.
Talking to TOI, Samajwadi Party district president Jai Shankar Pandey said, “Netaji had called Hashim Sahib to know about his health.”
