Raja Bhaiya shifted to Kanpur jail

KANPUR: POTA detenue and independent MLA of Uttar Pradesh Assembly Raghuraj Pratap Singh alias Raja Bhaiya has been shifted to Kanpur jail from Banda on Wednesday night, official sources said on Thursday.
The shifting of the MLA was made as he had expressed fear for his life in Banda jail and requested the state government as well as the High Court to shift him.
Raja Bhaiya was to appear in Kanpur POTA Court on March 13.
He was brought to Kanpur jail under tight security from Banda and had been lodged in the district jail on Wednesday night.
