Pvt hospital without doctors sealed

LUCKNOW: The health department on Friday sealed a private hospital in Thakurganj following complaints of mismanagement and unavailability of doctors.

A three-member investigation team comprising Dr Vinay Mishra, deputy CMO Dr Priyanka Yadav, and Ankit Verma inspected the hospital and found that its registration had expired in 2020. Further, no paramedical staff was assigned to the hospital. A pregnant woman, who had been admitted to the hospital, was transferred to the Silver Jubilee Urban Community Health Centre, said.
