Lucknow: The Punjab and Haryana High Court registered an emphatic 119-run victory over Karnataka High Court in the ongoing 36th All India Advocates Cricket Tournament on Tuesday.
After Punjab and Haryana HC opted to bat first, Ajay Panwar (68), Gaurav Bidhuri (64), Dharmendra Singh (62) and Nadeem Khan (52) smashed fifties to guide their team to a strong total of 333/7 in 35 overs.
In reply, Karnataka HC could score just 214, losing eight wickets in 35 overs.
In another match,
Supreme Court defeated Gujarat High Court by 84 runs. Batting first, Supreme Court scored 297/9 in 35 overs. Gujarat HC could score 213/7 in 35 overs.
In other matches, Allahabad High Court defeated Bombay High Court by 82 runs while Delhi High Court trounced Indore High Court by 54 runs.
West Bengal High Court defeated Odisha High Court by six wickets while Aurangabad High Court outplayed Telangana High Court by five wickets.
Chhattisgarh High Court defeated Andhra Pradesh by five wickets, while in another match, Lucknow Advocates and Cricket Association (LACA) registered second consecutive victory defeating Gwalior High Court by three wickets.
