Project issues to be solved by UPHDB on third Thursday of every month

LUCKNOW: On the patterns of Tehsil Divas, UP Housing and Development Board has decided to organize 'Parishad Divas' on the third Thursday of every month to listen and solve grievances of people related to housing projects. The objective of the initiative is to provide a platform to public to get direct access to the higher officials and district magistrate to get problems solved in a time-bound manner.
The announcement comes after government's instructions to dispose off people's complaints in a qualitative manner and punish officials found guilty for knowingly delaying the project. The camp will be set up every third Thursday from 10 am to 12.30 pm in the Housing Board's office where people's complaints will be heard after registration. All concerned officials have been instructed to be present at the camp.
The concerned divisional commissioner has to supervise the procedure and inspect whether all key officials are present or not. In case the third Thursday happens to be an off, the cam will be organized on the next working day of Housing Board. All concerned district magistrates (DM) and additional DM have also to be present during the hearing process.
