Pota court asked to decide on MLA's application
ALLAHABAD: The Allahabad High Court on Thursday directed the designated Court of Pota at Kanpur Nagar to decide the application of independent MLA of Kunda, Pratapgarh Raghuraj Pratap Singh, his father Uday Pratap Singh and MLA Akshay Pratap Singh.
The Singh''s have demanded through application that names of three witnesses in Pota cases be disclosed before framing charges against them in this matter.
Justice OP Srivastava, while passing this order directed Pota Court Kanpur to decide the MLA’s application expeditiously in accordance with law. The application was file on June 17, 2003 by the MLA and others.
