LUCKNOW: The police have yet not been able to arrest the accused who snatched a woman's purse near Butler Palace under Hazratganj police station on December 3 evening.
An unidentified motorcycle-borne miscreant had snatched the purse of a 24-year-old bank employee. The woman was seriously injured in the incident.
The woman, a senior official with a prominent private bank on Shahnajaf Road, was returning home on a rickshaw, when a motorcycle-borne miscreant targeted her.

The victim was identified as Shruti Kapoor, daughter of Sharad Kapoor, a resident of A-1\3, Shristi Apartment near the Butler Palace colony.
As the miscreant tried to snatch her purse, Shruti fell from the rickshaw and was seriously injured.
The purse, Sharad said, had two mobile phones, Rs 3000 cash and some plastic money.
When contacted, SP (east) Harish Kumar said investigation into the case was on. He said since the police have started a crackdown on chain and purse-snatchers on the directives of DIG DK Thakur, the accused would be nabbed soon.
