Poets present patriotic work

All India Kaifi Azmi Academy organised a ‘Mushaira and Poetic Meet' at Kaifi auditorium on Tuesday as a part of Republic Day celebrations. The meet was chaired by Prof Abbas Raza Nayyar. Urdu poet Prof Malikzada Manzoor was remembered on the occasion. The poets recited poetry on patriotism, love for the country and freedom fighters. Anil Mishra, Iqbal Hussain, Usman Meenai, Shoaib Anwar, Sagir Noori, Salim Siddiqui, Sarla Sharma, Rubina Ayaz and Nazia Jafi recited poems, said general secretary of the Academy SS Mehdi.
