Play on women empowerment
A play, 'Main Yashodhara', organised by Sugat Cultural Educational and Social Organisation was staged at UP Sangeet Natak Akademi on Thursday. The play was staged to mark International Women's Day. Written by AK Singh, directed by Vipin Kumar and music by Rajesh Dhabre, the solo play focuses on women empowerment, sacrifice and self-respect of a queen. The character of Yashodhara was played by Anamika Singh.
