An adaptation of August Wilson's Pulitzer prize-winning play ‘Fences', ‘Hind-1957' captivated the audience with its powerful performances and compelling storytelling.
With a strong message on Hindu-Muslim unity, post-Partition pain, and sacrifices, the play captured the struggles of a father burdened by his past and the hopes of his sons looking towards a brighter future.
Directed by Feroz Abbas Khan, the narrative took audience on an emotional journey, unravelling family secrets and confrontations. Abhishek Shukla's poetry deepened emotional resonance of the story.
