Nishadraj idol in Ram Temple a moment of pride: Sanjay Nishad

Lucknow: Nishad Party national president and state fisheries minister Sanjay Nishad said that it is a moment of pride for the Nishad (fishermen) community that the Ram temple in Ayodhya will also have an idol of Nishad king, Guha. He exhorted the party workers and the fishermen community to ensure the win of the NDA alliance on 300 seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections and make Prime Minister Narendra Modi get another term.Nishad Party has always harped on the friendship between Nishad king and Lord Ram. The renovation and beautification work of the king’s fort in Shringverpur, Prayagraj, taken up by the state government has been hyped by the party as one of its major gains.While speaking at a party event in Sonbhadra, Sanjay Nishad reiterated that his party will contest Lok Sabha elections on its own symbol. “The governments at the Centre and in the state are working to make fisheries the best department,” he said, adding that a lot of schemes have been implemented in UP to bring fishermen in the mainstream of development.The Nishad Party president has visited Chandauli, Pratapgarh, Prayagraj, Kaushambi and Sonbhadra – districts with considerable population of fishermen – in the last one week to make people from his community aware of the welfare schemes launched by the BJP governments at the Centre and state, like PM Matsya Sampada Yojna, Kisan credit cards (in fisheries sector), CM Matsya Sampada Yojna, fishermen welfare fund, Nishadraj Boat Subsidy Yojana and insurance scheme for fishermen.He has asked his party workers to educate people from the community in their regions on the welfare schemes and help them avail the benefits. While people from the Nishad community are made aware of the schemes launched by the BJP governments, they are also told that the previous governments in the state were not sensitive to take up their development.

Nishad Party invites PM Narendra Modi for unveiling of statue of Lord Ram in Prayagraj

The Nishad Party has invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi to unveil a 56ft statue of Nishadraj and Lord Ram in Prayagraj. The PMO has asked for details of the event. The statues of Nishad king Guha and Lord Ram will be installed at Shringverpur fort in Prayagraj. The BJP had promised the Nishad community that they would renovate the fort and install the statue. The Nishad Party hopes that the PM will accept the invitation this time.

Samajwadi Party leader Shivpal Yadav criticized BJP allies Om Prakash Rajbhar and Sanjay Nishad for their controversial comments during the recent Ghosi bypoll. Yadav claimed that the two leaders actually worked as star campaigners for the Samajwadi Party candidate. Rajbhar insulted backward castes with his remarks, while Nishad compared certain areas to Pakistan. Yadav also urged Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to include Rajbhar in his cabinet or risk him returning to the Samajwadi Party. Yadav's comments came after the BJP allies' statements received negative responses from the public.

Insulted MP fishermen welfare board chairman leaves stage in anger

Sitaram Batham, the chairman of the MP fishermen welfare board, boycotted a program celebrating the three years of the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY) in Indore. Batham claimed that he was being ignored and not given due respect by the hosts. He expressed his displeasure and protested against being addressed as "baccha" (kid) by the water resource minister. Although senior officials convinced him to join the program, the incident sparked controversy.
