LUCKNOW: The Lucknow-Kathgodam express will run at new timings from April 20. The train will from the date depart from Lucknow in the night to reach Kathgodam in the morning. Train’s composition and days of run will also change.
The direct train from Lucknow to the foothills of Himalayas, Lucknow-Kathgodam express (15043/15044), is a popular train. “There has been demand for a long time to change its timings,” said Sanjay Yadav, CPRO, NER, Gorakhpur.
The train will depart from Lucknow on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday at 8.40pm from April 20 instead of 8.05am, its scheduled departure at present. It will reach Kathgodam at 8am.
Given the revised schedule, it will depart from Kathgodam on Monday, Thursday and Friday at 10.50am to reach Lucknow at 6.40pm. The train will stop at Bareilly, Bareilly city, Izzatnagar, Bhojipura, Baheri, Kichha, Pantnagar, Lalkuan and Haldwani.
The train will have one AC-II and one AC-III coach, two AC and two general chair cars, three sleeper and six general class coaches.
