NER defeat Kuhu club by 35 runs

Lucknow: Superb performances by Upendra Yadav (82) and Annu (49) enabled North Eastern Railway to defeat Kuhu Sports Cricket Club by 35 runs in the G 20 BBD Senior Division Cricket League at Chowk stadium here on Thursday. The Kuhu club won the toss and asked the NER to bat first. Batting first, NER scored 230 runs for the fall of seven wickets in 35 overs. For Kuhu club, Faizanul Rehman and Bunty Bind claimed three wickets each.
In reply, Kuhu club were all out on 195 runs in 33.1 overs.Though Bunty played an excellent inning, scoring 90 runs off 58 balls with the help of seven boundaries and seven sixes, he could not ensure victory for this team.
For NER, Shivam, Saurabh and Prashant claimed two wickets each. Upendra Yadav was declared the Man of the Match.
