LUCKNOW: The body of the missing Nepalese woman was recovered from the Gomti river following a 48-hour-long search operation by SDRF on Thursday. However, the Mirzapur man who went missing is yet to be found. A unit of SDRF continued the search operation till the last reports came in.

Rahul Yadav , 26, of Mirzapur were feared drowned after the car they were travelling in fell into the Gomti near Samta Mulak crossing bridge, on Tuesday night.

Syed Abbas Ali said that they managed to retrieve the body of Meena Kumari who, prima facie, had no external injuries. "Her body has been sent for a post-mortem examination while it has been learnt that she had filed a divorce case in Varanasi and was living in Lucknow while working in a beauty parlour in Vikasnagar," said Ali. Abhishek Dubey (26), Dushyant Shukla (24), Meena and Rahul Yadav were travelling in a car when it overturned and plunged into the Gomti.
