See city as an artistic canvas, use it as muse, Muzaffar Ali tells students

Lucknow: The second day of the Jai Narain Mishra PG College (KKC) Litfest reinforced the role of literature, art and storytelling in connecting people to the vibrant art and culture of Lucknow on Friday.
Poet Pankaj Prasoon set the tone with his evocative verses, followed by a mesmerizing Dastangoi performance by Himanshu Bajpai. The highlight of the day was the appearance of celebrated filmmaker and director Muzaffar Ali, who captivated the audience with his insights into Lucknow's cultural tapestry.
Muzaffar Ali enthralled attendees by emphasizing how Lucknow serves as an artistic canvas. "Lucknow is a treasure trove of culture, adorned with heritage spots that are ideal for students to explore and create short films. Its streets, architecture, and soul have inspired generations of artists," he said, encouraging students to use the city as their muse.
Principal Vinod Chandra lauded the event's lineup, expressing gratitude to Muzaffar Ali and Himanshu Bajpai for their exceptional contributions.
"Muzaffar Ali's vision of Lucknow as a cultural haven is awe-inspiring. Himanshu Bajpai's Dastangoi was a heartfelt ode to the city's storytelling tradition. Both performances resonated deeply with the audience and enriched our Litfest," he said.
