'Mohd Ameen recited bhajans dedicated to Ram': Muslim couple visits Ayodhya to seek Ram Lalla's blessings; praises UP CM Yogi Adityanath as a good leader

AYODHYA: A Muslim couple from Lakhimpur Kheri grabbed a lot of attention on Ram Path on Thursday noon.

In the temple town to seek darshan of Ram Lalla, the burqa clad woman along with her husband had to be escorted towards the queue by security personnel.

"I have come to the city from Lakhimpur. I have come here in the past also. I have also visited Gola Gokaran Nath temple in our town and other popular Hindu shrines as well," said Mohd Ameen who recited some bhajans dedicated to Ram.

Praising UP CM Yogi Adityanath, Ameen said that Yogi is a good leader. The young man wished the UP CM on his birthday. His wife, too, sang a bhajan.

However, as TV crew and devotees in the queue started taking photos and making videos of the couple, the policemen deployed at the check post escorted them to safety.
